Tru was rudely awakened by a horrible noise. Her eyes flew open to scan her surroundings so that she could find the source of the high-pitched whistling. She spotted a strange red-feathered creature looking back at her. As she watched, the creature opened its beak and Tru was assaulted by that same offensive noise. She glanced down and grabbed an egg sized stone. With a fluid motion, she silenced the strange creature. As she looked at the fallen beast, she wondered if it would taste good.
After her impromptu breakfast, Tru looked around. She had never seen such a landscape! The sun was just cresting the mountains to the east, highlighting a spectacular waterfall. Well, the demon thought to herself, this is certainly a far cry from my cave in Hell! She decided to pack up and explore the unfamiliar territory.
Tru discovered path that led along a ridge to the south bank of the waterfall. From there she could look over the 20' drop. Feeling adventurous she stepped back several yards, adjusted her knapsack and took a running leap off the side and into the falling water. Tru splashed into the pool at the bottom and coughing and spluttering found her way to the muddy bank. She delighted in the feel of the cool water on her scaley skin. This was a new experience for her ... there is no water in Hell!

"Whew!" Tru exclaimed, stepping out of the water and giving herself a brisk shake. She thought she had seen ... something. Could it have been a dragon? There were carvings on the walls of some of the caves in Hell, but she couldn't be sure. Perhaps I can lure it down here.
"All that swimming has made me hungry! I think it's time to find something to eat!" Tru glanced towards the small meadow just north of her small camp. A young buck grazing there didn't even have a chance to lift its head as the demon pounced and tore open its throat.
Tru decided to put a haunch over the fire to cook, hoping that the smell of cooking meat would entice the dragon closer. While she waited, she began curing the hide.

Saphira watched hungerly as the deamon cooked the food. ''Mmmm... that smells good.'' she said and took a step forward. It was not long until she was fully out from her hiding place and she could be seen.

That is for sure a dragon, Tru thought to herself. Well I hope it's friendly!
"This is too much meat for me to eat all by myself! I wish I had a -" Her self-serving statment was cut short. The clouds obscuring the full moon shifted, exposing the celestial orb in full glory.
Suddenly, Tru was overcome by a strong vertigo. Rather than fight the sensation, she closed her eyes and sat back against the tree near her camp.
